Which driving licences does Cappont Mobilitat offer?

We offer a wide range of licences to suit what you need:

  • AM, A1, A2 and A: mopeds and motorbikes.

How can I find out about subsidised courses?

B licence (car)

What can I drive with a B licence?
  • Cars up to 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass and up to 9 seats, including the driver.
  • With a trailer up to 750 kg; above that, the combined mass cannot exceed 3,500 kg.
  • Agricultural special vehicles of any mass, and non-agricultural ones up to 3.5 t and 40 km/h.

After holding a B licence for more than 3 years, you can also ride A1 motorbikes anywhere in Spain.

B96 licence (car and trailer)

What is the difference between the B and B96 licences?
  • B licence: a trailer up to 750 kg, and the combination cannot exceed 3,500 kg.
  • B96 licence: a trailer over 750 kg as long as the combination stays within 4,250 kg. Above that you need a B+E licence.

A1 licence (motorbike)

What do I need for the A1 licence?
  • Spanish nationality or residence in Spain.
  • Be over 16.
  • Pass the general theory exam (at most 10% errors); you are exempt if you already hold a B licence.
  • Pass the specific 20-question motorbike exam (at most 10% errors).
  • Pass the closed-circuit skills test and the road test.

You will also need passport-size photos, a copy of your DNI or NIE and a medical check-up, which you can do with us.

A licence (any motorbike)

What does the A licence cover, and how do I get it?

It lets you ride any motorbike, with no engine size or power limit, and includes the AM, A1 and A2 licences.

  • Requirements: nationality or residence, over 20, and an A2 licence held for at least 2 years.
  • There is no theory exam: the driving school's director certifies the training.
  • Training: 3 hours of theory and 6 of practice (4 on a closed circuit and 2 on the road).

D licence (bus)

What do I need for the D licence?

To drive buses and coaches with more than 9 seats, including the driver’s, you must be over 24, hold a B licence and pass the specific theory and practical exams. With it you can work professionally in passenger transport.
